LE JOUX TRAVEL STROLLER

This stroller is lightweight perfect for abroad as you can take this on board with but I also use this in the city as you can handle this up and down stairs if you’re on your own on public transport. It’s definitely a more affordable option and you can also get universal foot muffs and accessories to match

PLAYPEN

We used this every day, it’s perfectly big enough to use until baby starts walking confidently. It is especially helpful for days when you’re on your own!

BABYBJORN BABY CARRIER, 3D MESH

Since babies literally think they’re still a part of you for the first six months, you need invest in a carrier if you want to get just about anything done! i liked this one it was lightweight, breathable (especially important in the summer months) and you could adjust it easily. As my little one had severe reflux any accidents also meant i could just chuck it in the washing machine.

DOONA CARSEAT STROLLER

This is definitely something i would invest in, it’s a lot easier to handle out and about especially in the city when you do not want to be lugging around a huge impractical pram. Perfect for holidays too.

MUNCHKIN & BEAR LARGE BOTANICAL PLAY MAT

You can use this inside the playpen or as is, I’ve had this now for two years and must say it is very durable, soft and padded so it gives all the support needed for babies and older children.

KILNER KIDS JARS 190ML

I prefer to use glass than plastic so these were perfect for storing the homemade puree’s i had made both in the fridge or for freezing, i could also use these to feed on the go and directly out the pot.

BIBADO COVERALL WEANING BIB

Whether you’re doing baby led weaning or opting for purees, bibs like these are a MUST, they are going to save a lot of headache when cleaning up which you will be doing a lot of (sorry to break it to you!) so these do help keep some of the food off the ground but most importantly prevent clothing getting ruined and stained. I have i think 4 or 5 of these.

MUNCKIN SPOONS

I tried quite a few spoons and i found these were the most comfortable.

IKEA ANTILOP HIGHCHAIR

I actually got a more expensive highchair in the first few months of weaning and i didn’t like it at all! it was not at the right height or anything it just felt bigger than it needed to be so i ended up getting this simple highchair from IKEA and the foot rest and accessories from Cove baby on Etsy.

BABY FOOD MAKER 5 IN 1

This isn’t a necessity but i would say it didn’t make life easier and it was very quick to use so i could batch cook all of my son’s puree’s for the next 3 days. If you wanted to make larger quantities to batch cook and freeze then you can absolutely steam over the stove and blend using a normal processor. Another option is a pressure cooker!

MY BUGGY BUDDY SUN SHADE FOR PRAM/CAR SEAT

Universal sun protection shade, it’s really important you do not cover your baby’s pram or stroller with a blanket or muslin it’s not safe as babies cannot regulate their body temperature. This allows direct sun to be shielded and allow air to still pass through.

STROLLER FAN WITH VELCRO STRAP

I used this when my son was 1 year old on his stroller or trike when it got quite warm, please remember not to face the fan towards their face of course, towards their feet or if on a trike them their torso.

NURSING COVER

I EBF my son for 18 months so needless to say this was by my side, it’s compact enough to fit into any bag and machine washable, it’s also very thin so perfect for the summer months.
